Hornady 6mm .243 Diameter 103 Grain ELD-X 100 Count. Hornady ELD-X® (Extremely Low Drag eXpanding ) feature the highest ballistic coefficient and the best controlled expansion over the full range of normal hunting distances. Though some tipped bullets are known to melt and deform due to aerodynamic heating, 6mm .243 ELD-X bullet will not due to the advance polymer used in the construction. The 6mm .243 ELD-X bullets use the proprietary InterLock® ring in the bullet to keep the lead core and the copper jacket together for improved weight retention at ranges from 0-400 yards. Due to its expanding design, and weight retention between 50-60%, the resulting wound cavities are highly lethal at all practical hunting distances.
